The Practice:
- Expanding practice currently 5 full time vets
- Varied caseload 50% Dairy, 30% Beef, 20% Sheep. Full range of enterprises from lowland to hill.
- Powys and Shropshire area with beautiful countryside to work in
- Excellent support team including two Approved TB testers and Vet Tech
- Modern purpose built premises with Lambing room/Calf theatre and Calf inpatient facilities
- Stable team of vets, 4 of whom are over 7 years qualified and include a DBR and a certificate holder.
- Independently owned practice part of XLVets
The role:
- Additional vet - the role can be tailored to suit the candidate
- Applicants seeking anywhere from 2 days/ week up to full time considered
- We are very open to discussions of any flexible working requirements
- Able to develop own interests within the varied caseload
- We pride ourselves in offering competitive salaries based on experience and qualifications
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with day off in lieu of any weekends worked
- Currently a 1 in 5 rota but applicants place within this can be flexible
